The Burin Peninsula is a very unique area, located on the southeast coast of Newfoundland, in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador (NL).
When you turn off the TCH onto the Burin Peninsula highway (Route 220), it's almost like entering an alien world.
Sculpted by gigantic glaciers centuries ago, the rocky landscape, with its gently rolling hills, patterned with ponds, brooks and streams of all sizes, appears almost barren and desolate at first.
Come take a closer look at this marvellous piece of God's creation.
