Faith's Fairy Page

Hidden deep within the Enchanted Forest, lies a lovely meadow where the grass grows soft and green and tall; the sun is always warm; and the flowers are bright and colourful.



In the center of this meadow is a little village of very neat little mushroom houses, where a special group of very tiny fairies live.


Some of them play music on their little flutes. The field mice gather around the huge rock in the middle of the village, just to listen to the beautiful music.


The flowers are everywhere and so are the pretty butterflies. The tiny fairies are no taller than their little dogs. These two little ones always make sure the large jar is filled with water for the dogs.


Fairies love flowers and some of them keep busy growing and picking special flowers for making perfume. It is hard work for they have to make sure that no weeds are allowed to grow among the flowers. The fairies don't mind the work, for it means they can stay outside in the fresh air and sunshine.


Then there are the fairies who take care of the kittens until they grow up and wander off to find new homes among the humans who live in big cities. Sometimes they stop and watch the spiders making their silky webs.


One of the most important jobs the fairies have is growing mushrooms. When the mushrooms are big enough, they are used to make new houses for the village. The fairies always paint their houses in pretty, bright colours so that they almost look like giant flowers among the tall grass.
