Walking With Jesus

Our children do not belong to us. They are precious gifts from God, entrusted to our care. It is our duty as parents, grandparents and responsible, caring adults to love, protect and nurture them. We are supposed to provide for their needs – food, clothing, shelter, education; to ensure their comfort and well-being; and to teach them good moral values such as respect for others, compassion, knowing wrong from right, etc.
Children deserve to be children; to be free to play outside in the fresh air, to make friends and interact with others, to be inquisitive for asking questions is learning, and to employ full use of their imaginations. Children have the right to feel loved, happy and safe. Any person who knowingly causes a child to be harmed or scared faces the consequences as determined by the justice system and, most importantly, the judgement and punishment of God!
